Our client Litgrid, the Lithuanian electricity transmission system operator which employs more than 200 employees is continuously managing around 60 projects, many of which take several years.
In order to effectively manage the executed projects and optimally use the available resources, informational project management system Microsoft Project Server and project financial transparency and analysis program UMT360 were implemented in the company. With the help of this system, the tools of document administration, budget planning and registering of actuals were unified – all these actions now take place in a single system which makes it easy to track and manage them. During the implementation project, unified project performance indicators were started to use.
After implementing these changes, project status and resource management became significantly more effective.
